This
was a really nice young lady that I talked to.
she
is Aztec, and her Aunt made her costume by
hand..
it's hand grown cotton, hand woven, with thousands
of
sequins sewn on.. took her Aunt only 3 months
to
make *impressed*. The family travels most of the year
performing
their native dances throughout the country.
before
the ceremony, Sandy and I watched the family put their
headdresses
together, her headdress feathers are visible
in
the mid left side of the photo. It was quite impressive
to
see these glamorous costumes, and I enjoyed their
dancing
immensely.
