Plot
(w/ review and commentary)
"UHF? What the hell is that?" A normal response from those (and there are many) who haven't seen this fine piece of work.
George Newman is a daydreamer and as a result, can't keep a job for very long. His uncle wins a television station in a poker game, and George's aunt talks her husband into letting George run the station. Now George and his buddy Bob are managing this station which runs less than popular programming. Though, somehow, in someway, the station's rating go through the roof and a rival station, that used to be #1, goes to war with them.
Quick Review
(by Sammy "the Bullshit" Scavonelli)This is a damn funny movie. One of the funniest I've ever seen. In my top ten funny movies list. Go rent it now. There, how's that for a Quick friggin' Review? Bastards.
And, there's no friggin' editorial for this movie, neither. Oh, what's that? That's my job? I'm s'pose to amuse you with my quirky little insights into things? Here's a quirky little insight: Fuck off!
*Editor's Note: Sam Scavonelli is a mean S.O.B. sometimes and doesn't always like to do his work like a good, little staff member. This will be the extent of the UHF Review and Commentary until Sam is off of his period, and/or we can figure out someway to force him to do his work.
