Actor, athlete, writer, and a real person with a total sense of charm, that's DEAN GEORGE THOMAS CAIN. Dean was born on the 31st of July in the year of 1966 at Mt. St. Clemens, MI. He grew up in Malibu in the neighborhood where Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe,The Estevez Siblings (yup, I am talking about Emilio and Charlie Sheen plus their other siblings) and Sean Penn grew up too. He lived a normal life as a kid even if his mother was an actress (Sharon Thomas) and his father's a director (Christopher Cain-his biological father is Japanese, but Mr. Cain is the one he considers to be his real dad) along with his siblings Roger and Krisinda.

Dean studied history at Princeton University (he graduated in 1988). There, he became a football star (he was an All-American defensive back and still holds the NCAA record for the most interceptions in one season), and the captain of the volleyball team.
After college, he signed up with the Buffalo Bills pro-football
team, but was not able to play a regular season because of a pre-season
knee injury.
He guest starred on many television series until he landed his
role as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman. At first, producers of "Lois
& Clark: The new Adventures of Superman" thought Dean
Cain, then 27, too young for the role of Clark Kent/Superman.
Luckily, after 4 auditions, Dean was chosen for the role opposite
Teri Hatcher's Lois Lane. Dean fit into those tights quite nicely,
and made red briefts (outside his tights, mind you) look good.
Dean was best known for his role as Brenda's boyfriend Rick on
"Beverly Hills, 90210." His other television
appearances include roles on "Life Goes On (Corky and the
Dolphins)", "A Different World" and "Grapevine."

Dean is actively pursuing a writing career in addition to acting. He is reportedly working on "a number of feature-film scripts," and he produced a special for ABC. He also wrote the story for "Seasons Greedings," a second season episode of "Lois & Clark" and "Virtually Destroyed," a third season episode.

Dean was engaged to country singer Mindy McCready but now the engagment is off :0). (OH HAPPY DAY) ok enough of that. We should be sad for him (NOT!). Read the whole lovely engagment story story.
