| Ducks are vegetarians | Not even close. Ducks are omnivores. They eat meat and vegetables. Some ducks eat fish, slugs, anything crawling around or green! |
| Ducks don't blink | Of course they blink, how else are they suppose to protect their eyes from the dust and dirt? |
| Ducks don't fly | It depends, but the ones I was familiar with can fly up to the roof top. (If they didn't fly, why would they have wings?) |
| Ducks are gentle | Think again! Ducks can be very cruel and violent. They attack others with their beaks and body. |
| Ducklings are soft and yellow | Rarely, just like human babies, they are individuals. They come in different colour, shape and sizes. Of course babies are always adorable though. |
| Ducks have no ears | How are they suppose to hear if they had no ears? They don't have fancy cartilage like we do, but they have ear holes on the side of their head! |
| All ducks quack | Wrong! Cartoon ducks might always quack but in reality it depends on the different species of ducks. Some ducks chirp. (mine did!) |
