author, historian, and psychic photographer, was
nominated by The Library of Virginia as author
of the best non-fiction book in Virginia, for her
work, "The Hauntings of Williamsburg, Yorktown,
and Jamestown."  A history buff with a photographic
memory, Jackie's interest took a gigantic leap
when she moved to historic Williamsburg, VA.
She became captivated by the multi-layered events
occurring before the Revolutionary War, through
the Civil War, and through the subsequent restor-
ation of Colonial Williamsburg.  While researching
her book, "Bloody Monday," Jackie discovered some fascinating ghost stories in old ledgers and diaries written by citizens of Williamsburg centuries ago.
This find was too much for Jackie to keep to herself, so after eight months of research, she created a candle lit walking tour of Colonial Williamsburg, called "The Haunted Williamsburg Tour."  The tour became so popular, that Jackie decided to include several of these spooky tales in her books, "The Hauntings,of Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown," and "Ghosts of America's East Coast."  Jackie has recently moved to Ocean Pines, Maryland, where she will premier her newest ghost tour, "The Ghosts of Ocean City and Berlin," in the spring of 2001.
