This page is not your ordinary vet page.  We don't sit here and mourn endlessly for the dead.  Screwing up your life over "bro's" who did not come back is not the best memorial to them.  This page is not for "wanna-bes" or MACV.  Spook-boys we make fun of.  We don't want to listen to "gook" jokes  and how badly the government is treating you.  Face it, Big Brother has never cared.  Big Brother never will.  Ask anyone who has ever signed a treaty with the US government.  Ask any Indian tribe.  Vietnam vets don't own the corner on this.  We don't want to hear how rough it was in country.  John Wayne and the Green Beret Syndrome is no use here.  There are  many others in this world who have suffered more.   Remember the phrase, "If I get home alive, everything else is gravy"?    This web page does not let you get into denial.  Denial is a no-no.  It doesn't matter who you were with or what year you were there.  Your race, creed or where you were born hold no meaning.  Don't  think you were any better than the "other" guy.  REMF or "real combat" vet, it is over.  The past is the past.  If you can't be honest with yourself, then you can't be honest with anyone else either.  If you want to get drunk, then get drunk, but don't blame it on Vietnam.  If you hate, then it is your own hate.  Don't blame it on Vietnam.  If you beat up on your wife or kids,  don't use Vietnam as an excuse.  Quit complaining about the VA.   We all know what the VA is like.  If you don't like the VA,  don't go.   Start sending those checks back.   There is a job out there.  It's not all that hard to flip a burger.  Of course, if you don't like standing, there is always telemarketing.  If you served more than one tour, xin-loi my boy, it was your choice.  We are not going to sit here and pat you on the back .We hope that you are still with us at this point.  If you are, then there is hope for you and us.  Check out our links.  There is nothing sacred.  We make life after Vietnam interesting.   Meet the Mong Party and join our Forum.  Mureens will have to furnish their own crayons.  Grab a pickle and some cheap yeller mustard.  Hang on to your trailers and lock up the dogs, the Mong Boys are in town and they plan to stay.
