01/01/00 -The new millenium is HERE!!! Just think of the changes: technological and social advances that will allow the human race to live in peace and harmony with one another; medical breakthroughs eliminating disease and illnesses from the world, mankind forging ahead in the sciences and arts, a true utopia, a Xanadu!

Nah. Not. Oh come on! Face up to it folks - tomorrow is the same as yesterday! The "New Millenium" affects only those who are nuts, such as religious extremists, and survivalists who fear apocolypse; and the scam artists, from corporations on down to the outright thieves, (To read about a REAL theft , check below), trying to sell Y2K crap to the gullible! Have you got your Y2K compliant toilet paper, yet? You're gonna need it!

There is hope for the future ahead of us: medicine will advance, science will advance, and yes, maybe the human race will even advance. But we still have lots of problems to fix in this ol' world, before things get better FOR ALL OF US, and as long as we still have politicians, corporations, and self-centered, greedy individuals amongst the population, (read as crooks, yuppies, 'stars', and those in the 'upper crust' of society looking down their noses at the rest), well... you'd better get 2 ply toilet paper!
