post service is a free service brought to you by mail to enable
you to stay in touch with your near and dear ones in
India. Using this service you can send a message from
your web browser which will be received by us in India.
We will print the message (exactly as received from you)
and post it in India to the address specified by you .

mail's Free Fax Service
enables it's users to send Free Fax messages to their
dear ones in India. The reciptent should own a Fax
machine which is in a working condition and should aslo
have a valid fax number. Then by filling up the form and
specifying the number. the message will be faxed within
24 hrs. The message will reach the reciptent on the
second.

What is mails' Free
Delivery of Birthday & Anniversary cards?
mail offers the NRI's to send Birthday &
Anniversary greeting cards for FREE via Pacemail. The
person just needs to fill up the form provided by
Pacemail and submit it. Then Pacemail will post the
chosen card to the address specified. Note : The
card chosen by the person may or may not be the same one
posted to the reciptent. This is to provide more choices
to the reciptent. The card which will be sent will be of
the same range specified by you.

How does this Fax Service
work?
has an automated Fax Service system.
All the messages collected in the day are sent
automatically by the fax to the specified number. The Fax
tries 4 times a day with a gap of 15 minutes. It will
keep on trying for the next five days in the same pattern
and if the reciptent's number is continuously engaged or
the message is not sent, then automatically an email will
be sent to the sender informing the problem.

. Who are likely to benefit
from this service?
This
service should be most useful to Indians living outside
India trying to reach out to their near and dear ones.
Your relatives and friends with whom you wish to
communicate may not have Internet or Email access. Hence
either you need to use the telephone or fax (which can be
quite expensive) or send a letter by regular mail (which
can take between 10 to 15 days to be delivered). Using
this service your message can reach the recipient within
2 to 4 days. If you want your letter to reach early you
can use our courier service. For this you have to pay an
additional of US $5.00/-. With this, your letter can
reach the destination the next day itself.

. What is the charge for
using this service?
There
is no charge payable by you to us for using the service.
This service (including receipt of the message at our
end, printing it and sending it through paid mail
service) is provided to you with our compliments. But if
you want to your letter to be delivered immediately then,
you have to spend US $5.00/- additional.

. How can I use the service?
To use
the service, go to the "Send a letter" section
to send the message via post, go to "Fax
Service" to send a message via fax, go to "send
a Birthday / Anniversary card" to send a card to
your near and dear ones residing in India. Then type in
your Postal Address (in the field marked 'From'). Now
type in the Full Postal Address of the person to whom the
message is to be delivered (in the field marked 'To').
Please take special care to type in complete name and
address of the receiver so as to ensure that the letter
can be properly delivered. Now type in the message (in
the column marked 'message'). After finishing the
message, you can opt for Courier / Speed Post service by
paying US $5.00/- which will enable the letter to reach
it's destination on the next day. If you want your
message to be delivered by Courier Service then you will
need to type 'Yes' in the given field. Then click on the
"Submit" button to send the message to us.

. How much time will it take
for the message to be delivered?
At our
end we will process the message and mail it within 24
hours of its receipt from you. Depending on the
destination within India, the postal time that will be
taken thereafter can be a minimum of 1 day, to a maximum
of 8-9 days. Thus it will take from a minimum of 2-3 days
to a maximum of 9-10 days for your message to reach its
destination, after you submit the same. This is
notwithstanding postal holidays and other uncertainties.
If you want your message to be delivered faster then pay
an additional sum of US $5.00/-

. How many messages can I
send?
You
can send any number of messages as you like. However we
would like to discourage the usage of this service for
the purpose of commercial mass mailing. The size of each
message sent by you needs to be limited to 900 words / 60
lines. In case you wish to send a longer message you will
need to break up your message into two or more messages
(depending upon the size of the message) and send each
part of the message as an independent message.

. Is privacy of my message
guaranteed?
We
cannot guarantee the privacy of your message. Hence if
your message requires a high level of confidentiality we
will suggest that you use other channels of communication
for that message.

. Do I get a confirmation
regarding delivery of message?
While
we cannot guarantee delivery of messages or generate any
confirmation to you in this respect we will confirm to
you (at the email address specified by you in the
sender's information box) regarding receipt of the
message at our end. Try out our service to see if your
objective is being served by our service.

. What parts of the world are
covered by this service?
Messages
can be sent from any part of the world. There is no
restriction on geographical location of origin of an
incoming message. We will deliver the message only within
India. The entire country is covered by our service.

. What are the possible
reasons why a message can get delayed or not reach at
all?
a. Incorrect or incomplete address given,
b. Missing PIN CODE in receiver address,
c. Sender email address not given,
d. Did not 'send' correctly
e. Postal delays in India.

. Will we get information if
our message does not reach?
It is
possible that due to short address or incorrect address,
your message does not get delivered to the recipient. Due
to the sheer volume of messages that we will handle, it
will not be possible to inform you regarding the
non-receipt of your message by your recipient. It is
therefore in your interest that you use a correct and
complete address for the recipient.

Can I use different
language to write the letter?
You should fill out the form in English, but in
the "Comments" box, you can write it in your
mother tongue. Provided you have that kind of a keyboard.
