After a stressing and tiring Finals week, we were all ready to party our minds out before the Mammoth Ski Trip. The first pre-party was on Friday, the last day of Fall classes. The next party was on Saturday night, and on Sunday we had the last pre-party and "slumber". Most of us stayed up all night until the next morning, so that we could sleep on the bus the next morning.

On Monday morning all of us met at the UCI flagpole. We had to take several cars to take only our luggage. We all threw our bags and snowboards into the buses cargo compartment and got into the charter bus. The bus had reclining seats and tv's for movies on the long way up.

We left Irvine around 11am and started our long journey. On the way up, we stopped by restaraunts and gas stations to eat or use the restrooms. The drive was very long and pretty boring. Everybody was sleeping or watching Dumb and Dumber.

We arrived at Mammoth in the night. We looked around and found that there was no snow around the area. After we arrived, we went to settle our things in our cabins. We had 3 cabins all near each other. After we unloaded and rested for awhile, we got ourselves up to go to the first party on the Mammoth trip.

The next morning after the first party, we woke up early in the morning to head over to snowboard. We took the buses to get rentals for some people and to go to the main slopes. We snowboarded the whole day until 4pm and came back to the cabins. After hours of sleeping and resting we partied again.

The next few days were the same routine except for that the last party was the biggest and best. People danced, talked, and we all got close to each other. The ski trip made us closer as a family and imprinted lots of memories.
