I have already submitted this article before to the RMAF Safety Magazine and would like to share it again with you, especially those who have missed that particular issue since it was quite a long time ago. I have been holding on to this principles for quite sometime which in a way has given me quite a satisfied life in the Air Force. It is a story actually, about a non-conforming bird. We normally termed this as "langgar tembok" or going against a brick wall.

If You Are Unhappy

Once upon a time there was a non-conforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter. However, soon the weather turned so cold, that he reluctantly started to fly south. In just a short time ice began to form on his wings and he fell into a barnyard, almost frozen.

A cow passed by and crapped on the little bird. The sparrow thought it was the end, but the manure warmed him, and defrosted his wings. Warm and happy, able to breathe he started to sing. Just then a large cat came by hearing the chirping and investigated the sounds.

The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird, and promptly ate him!

To Be Happy

 Consider these:

Everyone who shits on you is not necessarily your enemy.

Everyone who gets you out of the shit is not necessarily your friend.

Therefore, if you are warm and happy in a pile of shit, just enjoy it and keep your mouth shut!
