He was born in Quebec and raised in the Midwest.  His father left the
family when he was 5 years old.  Later on in life he grew to become a
star athlete and martial arts practitioner and obsessed with medieval
tales of chivalry and valor.  While in college in Chicago he
discovered a jousting and tournament arena - Medieval Times - but they
were looking for experienced performers, experts on horseback - he had
none but was one of a handful of novices accepted.  Within a year and
for the next 6 years he was the star of the show performing 5 nights a
week.  Can't you just see him with a lance and in a costume of that
period.  During one show he was seen by photographic illustrator Lynn
Sanders.  To make a long story short he did and continues to wow the
romance literature industry.  He has a 2 year old daughter and enjoys
the flexibility this type of job gives him so that he is able to spend
a lot of time with her.  I've taken this information written by Tara
McCarthy from the January 1998 ROMANTIC TIMES MAGAZINE who says he's
the new medieval cover hero, gracefully athletic, gentle, and
intelligent so please don't quote this information as being mine - I'm
paraphrasing her article.  He's been on the cover of Marsha Canham's
THE PRIDE OF LIONS  and Virgina Henley's A YEAR AND A DAY.  He's also
in the September 1998 issue of ROMANTIC TIMES on page 4 - the
expression on his face on the large picture and the way his eyes look
- you've just got to see it - JC's eyes all the way - he wants to
someday get into television and film.
