This was what started my reinterest in drawing after a long two years of not doing anything. This is a sketch of my girlfriend's hand. I decided that I wanted to draw people, so a good place to start was with just select parts of the body. I started with the hand, because I always had trouble with them before. So this was more or less just a study in the hand. My work has progressed, but this is about the only new sketch I have that was small enough to scan.
