I did this as a entry to an art contest sponsored by NASA. It was called SSIP, and I have no idea what that stands for. As a junior in high school, my art teacher entered us in a lot of art competitions, to get us to see what it was like to be a professional artist, and hopefully win some money in the process. Our class aways had someone win some honor, and usually just about everybody did something notable. This one got me an honorable mention, but no money. In a AAA contest, I won both a thrid place and an honorable mention, which came with $50. I learned alot about art in that class, and what people want from artists. My next year, in a different school with a different teacher, I learned more what I wanted out of art. Both classes taught me very valuable lessons, and were probably my two most important classes, as far as personal development goes.

NASA kept my picture, which I truely doubt they still have. Such is the life of an artist.
