Parts
This is The beginning of my great dream. A cupboard full of parts was still a ways from being in the wind again.
80 Cubic Inch Shovelhead
Here's The Heart of My Old Girl. A 1980 80 cubic inch Shovelhead. S&S Rods and an Andrews B-Grind, with a little work to the heads.  This is the first motor that I have together (twice now). I had a blast and learned LOTS about my bike.
Merry Xmas To Me
Merry Christmas To Me! Thanks to my good friend Harold for finishing my paint job well before Xmas. This was my Christmas Present to myself. Yes, it was an excellent Christmas.
Almost Ready To Ride
At this point I really began to feel like I was getting somewhere. It was a long cold winter and she was ready to ride before the snow was gone.
First Day
Well here she is: ready to roll. This was taken minutes before the first ride. Around the block, back home for a couple minor adjustments and the next few hours lovin life. Sure did like the way it looked with no fender.
My Baby
It only took one ride in the rain to get my fender on. My Friend Bill made me some custom mounting brackets to make this fender work with this front end (he also made me a cool alimunum chainguard, and an awesome seat-neither of which I have a pic of yet.)
