My inspiration to write this workbook began as a child. When I was growing up, I had a hardhearted mentor who knew how delightful and special people are. He had an interesting hobby; teaching others play-acting.
Although he hurt my feelings when my acting was poor, he was a lot of fun! We spent many hours together, acting in different ways with one another. We pretended and imagined together, to set the stage for our play.
Little did I know, that, I was becoming an actress. He showed me the natural consequences of bad acting. I learned the difference between acting behavior and behavioral acting. I was taught that a successful actor or actress has notable acting behavior.
One rule was set forth, by him, for me to follow, and I thank him for it. He told me to always act with true compassion, honesty, and sincerity.
As I learned how to act, I was learning how to behave. This was accomplished with the use of dreaming and pretending. Through our imaginations, he successfully taught me everything I needed to know about life and people, without ever telling me his name.
