The Balto Customizable Card Game!

Just kidding! These are some nifty cards that I made up just to amuse myself! Currently there are only (as I stated) eight finished cards in existence, but I have at least 20 cards made up on my computer. All they need is to be printed, coloured, and have an image put on them. I managed to find pictures that were small enough for me to trace into the tiny space provided. I'm looking for more pix so that I can finish more of the cards. Anyway, here are four that I have scanned; the other three will be on the Balto Fan Art Website. I mailed my Balto card to the magazine SCRYE for their dream cards section but they didn't use it and I didn't get it back!

I am planing on completing the Balto Card Game. It will consist of possibly 200 cards and will play like other CCg's such as the Star Wars CCG or Magic the Gathering. I am hoping, if I ever get it done, to post the cards on a separate website with EVERY card there including the rules.

Jenna: Character; Husky

The beautiful husky of Nome. Is always
being bothered by Steele. Her best friends
are Sylvie and Dixie. Owned and loved
by Rosy. Although she doesn't know it, she
has another love: Balto

INTELLIGENCE - 5

Endurance and Fidelity +1 if with Balto (+2 if with
Rosy, Sylvie, or Dixie). Fidelity -1 if with Steele. Adds
1 to range of any sled (2 if sled is Rosy's)

Rosy: Character; Human

A cheerful, cute little girl, Rosy dreams of the
day when she and Balto will ride across Alaska
with Balto pulling the sled along with her rust
and cream coloured husky, Jenna.

AGE - 8
ENDURANCE - 3
INTELLIGENCE - 3

Endurance +1 if with Balto or any other child (+2 if
with Jenna, Rosy's Mom, or Rosy's Dad). Intelligence
+1 if with Rosy's Mom or Rosy's Dad. Adds 1 to range
of Rosy's sled. Cannot be placed on any other sled
without a character of AGE>15.

Muk: Character, Polar Bear

An outcast along with his younger brother,
Luk, because of their fear of water. Are
content to spend their days with Balto and
"Uncle Boris" on the outskirts of Nome.

ENDURANCE - 3
FIDELITY - 4
INTELLIGENCE - 3

Endurance and Fidelity +1 if with Balto or Boris (+2
if with Luk). Fidelity -2 if at any site with water (except
Frozen Lake).

The Bad Guys!

Steele: Character; Malamute

Steele is the lead dog in his sled team. He
considers himself to be perfect. Spends his
time with Nikki, Kaltag, and Star. When he's
not bullying Balto he's always hitting on Jenna,
though this distracts him from other things.

ENDURANCE - 5
FIDELITY - 3
INTELLIGENCE - 4

Endurance +2 if with Nikki, Kaltag, and Star.
Intelligence +1 if with Kaltag. Endurance -1 if with
Jenna. Adds 3 to range of any sled (except Rosy's).

I have been working on the rest of the cards; as well as the rules for the game. I will probably have a list available soon if you want to check them out. The rules will take a while though!
