REPEAT
/This is one of the strangest and most fun dances that you'll ever see out on floor! It is the only dance that we have ever seen that is done in a 'round'-not around as in a 'circle dance', but in a 'round'-like "Row, Row, Row Your Boat!" The original choreography begins the dance with triple steps, listed as COUNT 17. However, when we learned the dance, we were instructed to begin with the claps. This simplifies the dance greatly, and makes it easier to "catch up" should you lose your place. It also makes for an excellent presentation and dance demonstration. After the first vertical line has completed the CLAP! CLAP!, the second line begins. Once the second line finishes CLAP! CLAP!, the third line begins and so on. Any time that you lose your place, wait for the Clap! Clap! and begin again. Most of the clubs in our area begin with the claps. It is our practice to continue the dance, until the last row gets in final CLAP! CLAP! STOMP! STOMP!, which will be after the music has stopped. . We apologize to the Choreographed by, Gordon Elliott, for the rearranging of his dance. It is certainly one of the most intriguing and best dances that we have ever encountered! Unlike most line dances, in which horizontal lines should be straight across and are the 'most important lines', the vertical lines are what's most important here. Pay particular attention to setting up THE OUTBACK. Make certain that the vertical lines are perfectly straight. This is the line that you will be following and paying attention to. Tune out the dancers who are on your left and right sides. This dance is a great exercise in dance concentration and ability.
