The following is my summation of the situation in Kosovo when NATO's destruction started.

There are Serbs and Kosovar Albanians living in Kosovar

90% of the population of Kosovo are Albanians and that equals about 1.5
to 2 million people, mostly moslem.

The Serbs fought to protect their soil 600 years ago and died their OWN
blood to save it.

There were many moslems left on the land and in the last 600 years, they
have multiplied to become 90% of that Republic.

Kosovar Albanians could have chosen the violent route but instead they
set up a shadow government and system which operated independantly... a
good "short term" solution, mainly because it is peaceful but also it
was wise.

Kosovo is Serbian under the law that exists and that is the law to be
followed, however, I feel that partition, no matter how unfair it may
seem to some Serbs, would be the only viable solution long term.

It may be a fact that Serbs own the land, but it is also fact that the
Kosovar Albanians should have the right to practice their religion
freely, which means it would also be their main base in government of
their people.

Personally, I think the wisest decision is to pull our troups out now
and throw our backing behind the Russians for the moment while they go
to try and talk to Milosovec and try to find a peaceful resolution.

I don't like people flying my flag when they're busy killing innocent
Serbian AND Albanian civilians.  I would rather keep our regular status
of being a peace loving nation who loves all it's people and NO that's
not idealistic... it's very realistic if enough people would just let go
of their hate and fear of the truth.

There are peaceful solutions (relatively because there will always be a
population of ANY country who disagrees) that can be employed here still
and there is no need to send our people in to kill "their" people.  We
have Serbs and Albanians, Moslems and Christians in our country and they
are as  much a part of our country as anyone... so they're OUR people
too.
