These are three of my best friends.  The ladies are  one's I turn to when I feel my world is about to crumble around me.  They've helped me maintain my sanity and for that, I thank them.
The picture below is our friend Natalie.  She moved to another city about nine years ago, but we still keep in touch and we miss her dearly.

I look around the room,
there's not a soul in sight.
when you're not here,
my days are not bright.
I sit and I listen,
but there's no sound,
My world feels empty,
when you're not around.

I  try to think,
I just can't seem to ponder.
I can't think straight,
my mind just seems to wander.
I go for a walk,
but I don't know where I'm bound...
My world feels empty,

When you're not here,
the sky is gray.
A couple of hours,
feels like forty days.

When you're not here,
birds won't sing,
dogs won't bark,
bells won't ring.
