To my very dear Friend

Dear Friend these words I have to say
You mean so much to me
You've been there when I needed you
Somehow you've set me free

When I was down you helped me up
You listened when I talked
You cared when I was feeling low
You gave me your support

You cared if I was worried
And when I felt real blue
You made me see I'm not alone
If I've a friend like you

Now, dear friend I must insist
When you are feeling blue
Don't bottle up your worries
Let me be a friend to you.

My dear, you know I'm hoping for
Good things for me and you
Maybe we'll find our meeting
Will begin a love that's true

And one day, when we're older
We'll look back and we will say
Thank goodness you were on-line
When I needed you that day

But whatever happens
I know my life will be
Much richer - just by knowing you
And what you mean to me
