Beginnings of Beta Chapter of Rho Pi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Michigan State University
On February 13, 2000, at 5pm in the Trophy Room of Snyder Hall, Beta Chapter of Rho Pi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., had their first informational meeting. In attendance were the following guest:
1. Kenneth Nelson, Jr.
2. Terrance Wilbert
3. Laudry Tientcheu
4. Edward Bailey
5. Jesus G. Mallari
6. Bernardo Dargan
7. Marvin Shorter, Jr.
The Brothers present were Brother Maurice A. H. Gatling and Brother Khary I. Parker. Also present was Soror Ervina N. Gatling.
The Welcome, Prayer, Fraternity?s Mission and Description of the Intake Process were done by Brother Maurice A. H. Gatling
Summation of History, Expansion and what does it mean to you, and the Advantages of being a member were done by Brother Khary I. Parker.
Q and A were facilitated by Brothers Parker, Gatling and Soror Ervina Gatling.
Dinner was served after the Q & A session. The menu was Spaghetti, tossed salad, garlic bread, sodas and for desert Harmonious Hummingbird Cake.
Each brother was offered and accepted invitation to membership by taking an application. Applications are due back by 5pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2000.
The Informational ended at 7:15pm.
