Membership Roll to the Clan of Rising
Thunder
The Federated Houses of Rolling Thunder have many
levels of membership that people may obtain. The traditions and
customs of each clan may vary. The people listed below are not in any
specific order, rank or precedence.
Rising Thunder chooses to recognize people with colored
cords for their contributions to making our household great. The Blue
Cord is given for service to the household. The Green Cord is given
for art and science endeavors not only in the house but within our local SCA
groups. The Red Cord is given for your first kill on the field at war.
The wars that are recognized are Gulf Wars, Estrella War, Lillies War,
Pensic War, Battle of Three Kings, Gothic War, and any war that is
recognized between Kingdoms within the SCA. In addition, we have
chosen to honor our peers with a Gold. The Gold does not give any
special rank or privilege. This is our way of recognizing the
significant contribution the peers in our household have made to not only
our clan, but our local SCA groups along with our Kingdom. Holders of
the Gold must have been sitting a minimum of 1 year as a Silver of the
household.
