Getting StartedThe first thing you need to make your own trick shots is a copy of Virtual Pool or, even better, Virtual Pool 2. All shots on this page must have been made with VPool2, however. The following instructions assume that you are using VPool2 Moving Your Balls AroundOnce in the game, go into Set Up Trick Shot/Practice mode, and start arranging those balls! To put balls on the table or take them off, press insert. To move balls around, hit [m] and then hold down [h]. move the mouse around until the cross-hair is over the ball you want to move. Now let go of [h] and the cross-hair will latch on to the ball below. Now hold down [m] and move the mouse to move the ball around. When it's where you want it, let go of [m]. Setting Up Amazing ShotsThe only advice I can give is to experiment. Oh, and a useful tip is to always keep tracking lines on. Toggle these on and off by pressing [t]. Adjust the predicted force by holding down [f] and moving the mouse up and down. The toggle lines will stay on while you position all the balls on the table, and let you see where everything is going to go. You can send the #1 ball into #2, sending #1 into a pocket. Then #2 can hit #3, sending #2 in. Then #3 can hit #4, sending #4 in etc. etc.(all in one shot) See how far you can go, how many balls you can pot in one shot! I've managed all 15, which is a tough record to beat! :o) |
