What is MIDI?
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) was developed
in 1983 as a means of allowing synthesizers from different manufacturers
to communicate with one another.
Some Things About MIDIs
MIDIs are programmed only with a keyboard, so they have no
lyrics or anything like that. Though you can hear things like drums, guitars,
etc. The RIAA for some reason thinks these will hurt record sales,
I think they were on acid thinking of that one. MIDIs have the same beat
and tune as the original songs, just sound computerized.
The Famous Complaint

The Answer : Also MIDI sounds different with different
equitment, so if you have a Sound Blaster from the late 80's cover your
ears :) The best Sound Cards IMHO, is the Ensonic series and Sound Blaster
32 or 64 awe series. So if these song like crap, it's your computer fault
or the composers fault and don't complain to me about it.
