MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02 Catagory: Cookies, Christmas Yield: 1 serving 3/4 c butter, softened 1 1/2 c sugar 2 ea large eggs 2 t vanilla 3 c unsifted flour 2 1/2 t baking powder MMMMM----------------------CHRISTMAS ICING 3 c confectioners sugar 1/4 t cream of tartar 2 ea large egg whites 1 x food colors In large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into butter mixture. Divide dough into thirds; shape into disks; wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 3 hours.Roll into 1/8" thickness and cut.Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes or almost lightly browned. Cool and decorate with Christmas Icing. Christmas Icing:In large bowl, mix all ingredients until stiff. Color and decorate cookies. |
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02 Categories: Candies, Chocolate, Christmas Yield: 1 serving 6 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 1/3 c +1 tb Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 pn Salt 1/2 ts Vanilla Or Rum Extract Melt chocolate without stirring in top of double boiler. Removefrom heat and add condensed milk,salt and flavoring. Stir only until blended. Press into a block one inch high in wax paper lined pan. Chill until firm. Turn out. Remove wax paper. Cut into serving pieces. Store in airtight container. Makes about 1/2 pound. | ||||||||||||||||||
