The first thing is you need a completed copy of communicator
     (include page composer). If you didn't have one, you can go  here
     to download a professional edition. It is free and it is the latest
     version. (If you version is too old, you better to have a new one)

2. Connect to internet

    Go to the page you want to edit. For
    example, I want to edit Hsiehs page. I activate communicator
    and go to our home page and click on the "Hsiehs" then Hsiehs
    page will show in the screen.

3. Edit Page

    Under "File" menu, you will find "Edit Page", click on it then
    the netscape composer with the page you wish to edit will show
    up.

    If you only want to add some text, you can only type what you
    want to say on that page.

    If you want to really edit your page, there are a lot of tools shown
    on the tool bar you can use. Just like you are working with
    microsoft office.

    The "image" icon can let you insert a picture, it is a interesting one.

    You can try what you want, but two things you need to keep
     in mind:
          a. When you insert a picture, try to keep the file size small.
          b. Everybody is easy to get in this home page not just us,
              so the personal information, such as phone  number,
              are better not show here.

4. Preview

    After you finish your work, you can preview your page by clicking the
    "Preview" icon on the tool bar.
     You may be asked to save the file. Just save it then you can see the
     preview. ( you better save with the original filename, see point 5)
     If there is any thing you want to change, you just go back to
     composer and make the changes than save again.

5. Publish

   If everything is O.K., then you can publish it to the world wide web.
   You can click on the "Publish" icon on the tool bar or in the "File"
    menu. A dialog will show up:
 
           a.  "Page Title:  Hsieh"

                 Here shows the name of page you want to edit.
                 Normally, it always shows up automatically.

           b.  "HTML Filename: ming.htm"

                 Here shows the filename you edited.
                 Normally, it always shows up automatically.
                 The filename is usually case sensitive, that mean they only
                  read in low case. So type them in the low case.
                  ( ming.htm not Ming.Htm).

                 Every page has its own filename, here they are:
                         Main page :   index.html  ( be careful!! it is "html" not htm.
                                                                 there is one "l" different)
                          C.J.         :   cj.htm  ( no "l")
                         Chien-nan :   nan.htm
                          Yu-Fang :    yu.htm
                          Fine        :    fine.htm
                          Yi-Li       :    li.htm
                          Wen-Li    :   wen.htm
                           Hsieh     :    ming.htm

                  c. "HTTP or FTP location to publish to"

                   Type the following  account into this area;
                   ftp://ftp.fortunecity.com/
                    should be exactly like this. Be careful, the  last "/" is
                    very important, don't forget it.

               d. "User name and Password"

                    I will send these information to you by e-mail.

               e. "other files to include"

                   The last part is about the files which your page need will
                   be uploaded with your page.
                   Normally, you choose "select none", except you have added
                   some image file, then only choose the file you added.
                   ( ignore the files whose directory is from this home page)

                f. Click OK.
                   you are set. Go to www to enjoy your creature.
 
7. After you update your page, you should write a note in " somthing to tell
    you" in the bulletin board of main page by the same method, tell us go to
    see your page.
