For all of you that don't know Nikki REALLY REALLY well, she is Wiccan. (or a "witch" if you want to put it that way).
On this site you can read about Wicca... What it is, what it is not, what it's about, etc. So here'z we goooooooo!!!!

What is Wicca?
Wicca is a "nature-based" religion. It is very hard to explain what it is, because it is different to every pagan. Quoted from my high preistess friend, when I asked what she told people what Wicca was, she said this: "... wicca, simply put, is a religion of nature, involving a god AND a goddess...that most wiccans tend to believe in reincarnation, divination, karma......that we don't belive in hell or satan, that those are xtian concepts we don't hold with... we harm none... not even ourselves...". That's VERY VERY simple.

"... A practitioner of a nature-based belief system or religion. Not all Witches follow the same belief system. Some practice what is called the "old religion" which has its roots in pagan pre-monotheistic folk ways and beliefs and usually follows the seasonal cycles. These belief systems or "traditions" of Witches are often based upon the particular culture from whence they originated. Many Witches believe in a polytheistic deity structure (usually based upon the local gods and goddesses of the area of origin), but some simply practice magick (sometimes spelled with a 'k' to differentiate it from stage magic). Witches may practice alone as 'solitaries" or in covens. There are also family groups or traditions which trace their practices and beliefs within the same close group throughout several generations..." **

What we believe in...
Wiccans/Pagans believe that everything that occurs in life is for a reason and because of something else. You are responsible for your own actions. There is a Law of ThreeFold, or the "Law of Karmic Return". In other words, all energies sent out come back to you times three. Yes that saying in The Craft was real!
Many of us believe in reincarnation... I'm not really going into full here, but it's just the basics...
Also, we live by the words: "If it Harms none, Do what Thou Will!" Basically translated it means... if it harms no one, then do what you want.

What we abide by...
This is kinda the rule or our Law if you wish to call it that. It's called the Wiccan Rede.
This is the short version of it...

Bide by the Wiccan Law ye must,
Be in perfect love and perfect trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill:
An it harm none, do what ye will.
Lest in self defence it be,
Always mind the Rule of Three.
Follow this in mind and heart,
And merry ye meet and merry ye part.
