The Mysterious Wolf
The wolf is my most favorite animal. I love them so much that
I even adopted one at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. She is
the Alpha Wolf of the pack. Her name is Gena. If you have
ever been to the new Wolf exhibit ate the Zoo there, she is
very easy to spot. She is the wolf with the most red-orange
colored coat. Don't be mistaken though, Gena is a Gray Wolf.
Not all Gray Wolfs appear to be gray. It is yet another false
myth encorporated with the wolf. {{{This page is incomplete
right now. I will post a picture that I have of Gena at a
later date in place of the Gray Wolf picture here. I will also
dedicate this whole page to facts and mythes surrounding the
wolf}}}
The Magestic Bald Eagle
The symbol of this great nation, the magestic bald eagle.
You may think that because they are the symbol of this
nation they will be quite numerous, but in truth, they are
highly endangered. There are projects that are going on
right now to ensure that this magestic creature will survive,
but more needs to be done, before this creature vanishes,
not only from this great nation, but from the world as we
know it.
The All-Around Lovable Backyard Squirrel
Everybody loves watching them,
Everyone wishes they could pet one,
Everyone wishes they could hold one,
But noone wants to see them hurt.
As with all animals endangered or not
we should do our part to ensure their survival.
Though the common squirrel is not endangered it is
the target of many acts of animal cruelty. People
think it is "fun" to treat them cruely. I say to
those people ask yourselves one simple question...
How would you like to be those animals that you
have cruely mistreated or hurt because you felt
it was fun?
