Asuka is the second child and the pilot of Eva02. She doesn't appear in the series until episode 8. Asuka is 3/4 German and 1/4 Japanese. Asuka strives to be the best at her job, which sometimes means she is a bit bossy. She takes pride in being an Eva pilot and lets everyone know she is the best. An extremely confident girl! She is always trying to beat Rei and Shinji, she is overly competitive.
