Rei is the first child, the pilot of Eva 00. Rei is albino in appearance and a quiet mysterious girl. She shows no emotions.
Rei is however very dedicated to her job as an Eva pilot and she admires Gendo Ikari like he is her father. Rei suffered serious injuries when testing Eva 00,
the reason was due to not sychronizing properly with her Eva the first time.
