Ritsuko is the lead technician in NERV. She is in charge of the Evangelion Development. Her mother Naoko created the Magi System. Like her mother, Ritsuko fell in love with Gendo...unable to compete with Rei for Gendo's affection, Ritsuko hates Rei and has many times tried to destroy her. Misato, Ritsuko, and Kaji all went to college together.
