First the report... then the pictures... hang in there!
Thanks to all the brave souls (mostly GUYS... LOL!!!) who dared the iffy weather to attend our luncheon at Trina's in Norco on Saturday, January 27, 2001. Now that Trina's has been in business a little longer, they are getting things fixed up a lot more and our private room was nicely decorated. But hey... we don't care, anyway... we could have a nice get-together in a tent!
What a wonderful surprise it was to see TonerKing (Bill) and RosalynG walk through the door. Ros just had major surgery on Wednesday and it was really wonderful to see her with our own eyes and see that's she's doing really well. Ros is a real fighter and has a wonderful attitude, so we know cancer hasn't a chance against her.. nor against the support and prayers from all her friends and family.
Also a real treat and good news, too, to see BPettit (Bob) show up in such fine form and spirits. Bob had another cardioversion recently and this time it works. And you can sure tell.. he's frisky as a pup! TheWizard stayed in the car again.. sometimes he's just too shy to join us, but we heard he's about to have a baby sister!
And on my own behalf, I got to let everyone know that my follow-up scan finally got done and I finally got the results on Friday. I am in complete and total remission and there has been no sign of regrowth in six months. And I sure do thank everyone for their continuing support and prayers.
We were glad that Charlie (CWP157) was able to join us. The tragic loss of his beloved wife and our dear friend, Joyce, has us all stunned and it was good to be able to give him some hugs and condolences in person. If you missed the link to a memorial page we are making for Joyce and information about the services to be held on Friday, February 2, just go back to the main page for SGGAF by clicking on the BACK button below. Or there will also be a link at the end of these pictures.
Our regular meeting day is the 4th Saturday of each month, which seems to be the most convenient for the most people. Please go back to the main SGGAF page for address, directions, and other information.
We always miss (and gossip about) those who can't attend... and we always have a good time with those who CAN.

together with screen names for online pals we've talked to but have not met
before.

All of the pictures have the captions ATTACHED to them, so they will stay with the photos if you want to right-click and download any of them to your computer.
I always put these photos up two or three to a page, so that I can leave them larger and still have them load quickly into your browser. Just keep using the "NEXT" button on each page to see more pictures.
