First the report... then the pictures... hang in there!
Thanks to all our good pals who dared the definitely soggy weather to attend our luncheon at Trina's in Norco on Saturday, April 7, 2001. It has been suggested that I schedule luncheons whenever a drought threatens or the lawn needs water because it seems to rain on luncheon days more often than not. I got the TOUCH, dontcha know?
I most especially appreciate all the gang who still choose to attend in the lousy weather. Today, it seemed like many of the folks were those from the furthest away... especially WrongTeri, who came all the way from Florida! Believe it or not, she drove!
What a treat to have BillyJack with us, too!
Palm Springs, Oceanside, Vista, Palm Springs, Coto de Caza... Cajun driving all that way just a couple of days after eye surgery (stay off the roads, folks.. LOL!!!) And how marvelous to have Toner and Ros with us. Ros looks marvelous, in spite of all the stuff she is going through with her cancer treatments. She said she is almost through with chemo now. She's a courageous gal and really an example to follow. Keep the support, emails, and prayers coming. Ros said all the support she is getting from all our SeniorNet and SGGAF friends was and is a major benefit for her.
You probably already noticed that we have changed our regular luncheon day to the FIRST Saturday of each month.
In case you missed it, we have a chat room now. Let me know any time you would like to get together and chat. It's a very simple thing, and there's nothing to download. Works pretty easily and quickly, also. If anyone wants to use it for special functions, give me a holler.
Please go back to the main SGGAF page for address, directions, and other general information about our luncheons.
We always miss (and gossip about) those who can't attend... and we always have a good time with those who CAN.
I'm gonna guess at the approximate travel time for these folks so that you will understand how far they travel to join us for the luncheon! And these guesstimates are NOT allowing time for all the wrecks and flooding and so forth because of the storm.

These pictures are courtesy of LadyZinnia and Lotsa000 and I'm sure VistaGal will put up some on her site, also. You'll find a link to her site at the end of these pages.
All of the pictures have the captions ATTACHED to them, so they will stay with the photos if you want to right-click and download any of them to your computer.
I always put these photos up two or three to a page, so that I can leave them larger and still have them load quickly into your browser. Just keep using the "NEXT" button on each page to see more pictures.
