First the report... then the pictures... hang in there!

Twelve lovely people and one even lovelier Wizard attended the luncheon on Saturday, June 24, 2000, at Live Oak Inn.

MyImaQT (Flo) brought her friend, Riley, who is new to the group and hopefully will be new to computers before long.  And how wonderful to see DonutOOOO (Donna) and her handsome husband, Wiley!  I've known Wiley so long it was really great to finally get to MEET him!

And the most wonderful surprise was to find out that BPettit  (Bob) was able to convince TheWizard to accompany him to the luncheon.  Some of us already knew Wiz, but he's been a topic of conversation in the chat room for many months now, so it was really a special treat for many to get to meet him.  Wiz was too shy to come in and eat with us, but he did come in for a brief visit afterwards.  Wiz is a great guy and often accompanies Bob on his visits to the children's wards at Loma Linda Hospital.  Bob is a big ol' soft-hearted guy who spends his off-duty hours working with seriously ill and terminally ill children.  What an angel he is!  Look for pictures of both of them in the pages that follow.

We always miss (and gossip about) those who can't attend... and we always have a good time with those who CAN.  We did miss VistaGal (Virginia), who is off having a lovely time in HOLLAND, and everyone else who couldn't attend this time.  

Our regular meeting day is the 4th Saturday of each month, which seems to be the most convenient for the most people.  The time has been changed to NOON because Live Oak Inn doesn't open until 11:30 and early people get them all bumfuzzled... LOLOL!!!  Same place every month except as otherwise notified. E-mail me if you will be attending and/or if you need more info. I'll be reminding the people on my mailing list about a week before each luncheon.

It is always so sweet to see old friends, meet new friends, and to put faces together with screen names for online pals we've talked to but have not met before.
