First the report... then the pictures... hang in there!
What a great visit we all had today! And lots of extra treats, also... a rare treat to see Jacquie (BusyBee808) get a Saturday off and we appreciate her choosing to spend it with us; Bob's marvelous hat ; another visit from our dear pal The Wizard; and PerkyCA's account of her short-lived career as a hockey goalie!
MciScot (Mac) let us know that he would be traveling to Iowa, so he was unable to attend the luncheon. We'll have his report next time!
Sorry we missed seeing NanaClown (Lila) during her visit... heard she spent the last part of it in Sick Bay and glad to hear she was on the mend this morning when she left for home.
It was really great to see Camelot479 (Heidi) again. She made a flying trip out and back in between classes and Bible Study and in spite of still being on crutches.
Good to have Rollie with us and he said his wife, Frances, may be joining us next time.
We sure hope YOU get a chance to join us next time!
This bunch of pages also includes several pictures from Charlie, including his lovely intended, Betty, his wonderful "new" '63 Plymouth Valiant, and his well-known dawg, Indy. Thanks for sharing, Charlie!
We have found out from Podunker3 (Gladys) that Jim Joy (Jajoy) is home and recovering now, which is a really great piece of news. Both of them can use our ongoing prayers and support.
Missed seeing Toner and Ros and hope things are going well in her continuing cancer treatment. In the midst of all that, they are still running their business, which also keeps them hopping.
Also wishing HEICROSS (Gene) a speedy recovery from injuries and indignities sustained when he got tangled up with a fan and took a dive. Fan:1 Gene: 0. I think maybe he's practicing to join Perky's hockey team... they live just a few doors apart!
I added some photos at the end of a small cabinet I just finished painting... just because I had taken them to share with a couple of friends and thought y'all might enjoy seeing what a mental case I am. Sometimes it helps to take a break from the oil paintings and just do something for fun and silliness. This cabinet is now outside my front door - on the front deck - so that I can put down my bags and packages while I unlock the door.
I am thrilled to report that I got yet another MARVELOUS ct scan report. This one included the abdomen and major organs in addition to the chest and lungs and The Miracle still holds... no sign of anything out of order. If I get a good one next time (next appt. is on the one-year anniversary of The Miracle), then they will lengthen the time between visits and scans, which will allow me more a lot more freedom. And, again, I thank you and bless you one and all for all your prayers and support and encouragement!
Please go back to the main SGGAF page for address, directions, and other general information about our luncheons.
We always miss (and gossip about) those who can't attend... and we always have a good time with those who CAN.
Who attended?

together with screen names for online pals we've talked to but have not met
before.
These pictures are courtesy of LadyZinnia. VistaGal always has nice photos on her site, also. You'll find a link to her site at the end of these pages.
All of these pictures have the captions ATTACHED to them, so they will stay with the photos if you want to right-click and download any of them to your computer.
I always put these photos up two or three to a page, so that I can leave them larger and still have them load quickly into your browser. Just keep using the "NEXT" button on each page to see more pictures.
