Hi and welcome to our page. Here I will give a little bit of background on us and tell you our story.
Rodney and I met in January 1993 in Charleston SC at Brunswick Bowling Alley. I had just completed a job interview and he was working the snack bar as a second job, (he was also in the Navy.) I knew he had been watching me pace up and down nervous as anything. Well, the interview went well and I was hired, he found out about it before I could walk back to the snack bar to get me something to eat. I had ordered myself some fries, and when my order was done, he looked at me with those hazel eyes and told me that as long as I worked there, I would not have to pay for it.
Well, we got to know each other very well, and in February, I moved in with him. In June of 1993, I became pregnant, but you couldn't tell him that. I did a few home tests and had 2 blood tests done, all were positive. He had believed that he was sterile. Finally, in August, I had my first ultrasound, that is when he believed me.
In November of 1993, he received orders to be transferred from SC to CT, so we moved. We were not yet married, he was still in the process of his divorce. So, on December 21, 1993 at 12:01 p.m. we were married. He was 27 and I was 17 so I had allot to learn.

The first few years were really hard. We both had allot to learn. We had to learn, that no matter what people had done in the past to hurt us, we should not expect it now. In July of 1996, a few months after our second son was born, we split up. I didn't know what I was going to do, so I went to stay with my mom. He came to SC in October and we had a very long heart to heart. It took us about a year after that to figure it out.
Today, we are best friends and could not imagine being without each other, we are happier now than we have ever been in our lives. We have gotten tot he point where it is like we can read each others minds. We will be married for 7 years this year and have
many more to look forward to.
So, I guess the point is that if you love each other enough, there is nothing you can not handle, we had to learn that the hard way I wish all the visitors to this site best wishes and may you find true love and happiness.
