[Did everyone’s puppy die in a tragic car accident this summer? The halls of Bethel looks like thousands of folk whose dear old mother was just gunned down in a South American guerilla conflict. The student body is just upset, and I have no clue why. It just seems to me that 800 pounds of Prozak should be infused into the water supply. Maybe that will make people happier. Students are mad that there are so many freakin’ sophomores, and even angrier that I wrote anything about it. Pupils are perturbed that it is too rainy. Others complain that school is too boring. All the while, another significant portion is whining because they are too stoned to think of anyone to blame for their misfortunes. Even the pages of this publication was soiled with some ramblings on how the Daffodil Festival Board is unfair in selecting princesses Everyone has something to complain about. Why? Perhaps I’m mistaken, but everyone always says that everything wrong with this school is somehow my fault. For the record, I haven’t done anything yet to cause a scene. Unless someone else is involved in some degree of evil, what could be the cause? The football team is pretty good (accepting of course that the Rogers game was a fluke and not the norm). The soccer team is no worse than last year. What is the problem? Let’s wait until January to get mad. I need a bit of time to warm up. So, it has to be something else. Perhaps someone is trying to institute the Fourth Reich of Nazi Germany on the innocent students. If someome were spreading Arian Nation propoganda in the hallways, then that might be a legitimate reason for everyone to be upset. Yet, I don’t see any signs with anti-semitic lines spreading hate and
unrest. It has to be something else. It is possible, maybe even probable, that the Devil himself is a presence at this school trying to steal souls and convert many to the wickedness of Diabolism. If Lucifer were here distributing hate and unrest to all who come in contact with his darkness, then that is an acceptable reason for all the rage. Satan is generally regarded as an evil fellow. Still, I didn’t see Beelezubub at arena registration. It continues to be a mystery. So why are people mad? Everyone knows that I am constantly preaching postive thoughts, so perhaps I’m just out of the hatred loop. Still, I would like to know why the serial killer mentalities are upset. Perhaps something else is already in the water.]
