Fatboy Slim w/ Nasir

Well This Concert was after the #seattle GT at Hurricanes, that was pretty cool, as i meet some cool people that i have never meet before, janet and Chad, although we stayed there for about 2 hrs, it got kinda boring and the ppl at the Hurricane were going to kick us out, so everyone kinda went their separate ways. (props to Joe and Carrie for giving me a ride to carrieann)





I got to the Showbox at about 9:30, and went in, DJ Nasir was spinning at this time, so i got on the dance floor and started to groove and dance, As i was dancing this girl approached me, dancing, and we started to dance for awhile, we danced and i made my rounds kinda dancing with different girls here and there, nothing big, just kinda goin around dancing, nasir rocked but after awhile i got tired and went up to the lounge area and had a beer or two.





Then Fatboy Slim came on, oh man, does this man know how to get a crowd all fired up, he totally ignitated the crowd, totally working the crowd to a ferver pitch everytime he had the beats start slow, and slowly but surely got the beats higher and higher...urging the crowd with his own actions, then finally at the climax, threw his hands up and rocked the crowd, ocassionally smiling, bobbing his head and helping the crowd by mouthing the words. I got onto the dance floor and slowly made my way to the front, for pictures, this proved relatively easy as i just kinda danced my way through, taking pictures, more and more as i got closer. Finally i was close enough where i started taking some good pictures, one picture (I hope) is where he sees me taking a picture and flashes me a peace sign, most other pictures i snapped when he was doing something to get the audience fired up. One set of wierd pictures that i took was when he went all the way down, and all you can see is his hand..and plays this beat like really small and low..then as he rose the beat..he himself rose, i took several pictures of this as well. Then i went back to the lounge area, where i danced for most of the nite, saw kim monroe and someother important people :) in the lounge *grin*. I left with about 25 minutes left to go in the show, so that i could catch the bus, as i got out, i felt sore and tired, but i think overrall it was a success.
