That is what 2 RJ45 connectors look like (top view use your imagination) to make a crossover cable (I recommend you ask your computer store to make for you) you will need a special crimper. Look at your cable now you will have 4 sets of wire blue, blue/white, green, green/white, brown, brown/white, orange, orange/white they are your 4 sets of wires of your cable. There are only 2 sets that are important you decide I use green, green/white, orange, orange/white. On your first side mark how you put them on the ones that are important are 1,3 and 2,6. So lets say you use my color sets on number one side you put green on 1 green/white on 3 orange on 2 and orange/white on 6.
On side 2 it would go green on 3 green/white on 1 orange on 6 and orange/white on 2
