Justin informs Rob Osa that the Tile Cutters reign as 'Defending Champs' is about to come to an end.

The playoffs for the Spring Season had some truly unique events.

The Tile Cutters entered the playoffs as the 'Defending Champions'. They lost in the first round - but still managed to begin the Summer Season as the 'Defending Champions'. How is that possible you ask? Well - due to some scheduling conflicts -- the Spring Season Championship game could not be played until the 3rd week of the Summer Season. If that wasn't confusing enough -- a couple of the guys from the Championship Winning Tile Cutter team left the Tile Cutters for the Summer Season to form the Saskatoons.
Nothing against the various Individual teams that have played at the rink over the past few years (and those currently playing) -- but usually a team that is made up of individual players does not enjoy immediate success on the floor. Typically it takes a while for individuals to gel together as a unit. So to say that the Indians took a few teams by surprise this year would be an understatement. I know a few guys who were already chalking up a win for their team when they saw the Indians on their schedule. Not only were these guys surprised when they were beaten by the Indians --- they were downright angry when the Indians made the playoffs -- and they didn't.

Round 1 Results


	The Indians jumped out to an early lead against DJs Computers Mad Kowz -- but they were unable to hold the lead against the eventual Division Champions.
