QVT/NET Terminal emulation program

To get QVT/NET's Terminal emulation program, do the following if you have a direct network connection on campus: (also you may need to see How to access shoveler's protected areas, before the following will work)
  1. START, FIND, COMPUTER, SHOVELER

  2. Go to the swtpriv\qvt\w95\qvtterm415 folder, then double click on the SETUP.EXE program or

  3. If you are a modem user go to the SITE LICENSE dowload page to get it and expand it to an empty temporary directory on your hard drive and then double click the SETUP.EXE program there.
     
  4. Copy the files (rsvt220.km, term.cfg) from the sources' BIN directory to your c:\program files\qpc\qvtnet\bin directory.
     
  5. Now you should be able to run qvtterm by START, PROGRAMS, QVT_Term, Terminal.


Then click on KEYMAPS in qvtterm and choose load keymap file and pick rsqvt220.km then click on File, save configuration and enter NYSSA or TEGAN or LEELA depending on what system you use. Finally exit qvtterm then run it again, go to FILE, OPEN and then double click on NYSSA, TEGAN or LEELA depending on which system you want to use.
