A Governor "moved" by the pope needs to be moved out by the people

I am appalled by Governor Carnahan's lack of duty and respect for the people of Missouri through his recent action of allowing convicted killer Mease to live. Such weakness is a personal affront to anyone who is interested in justice, regardless of faith. How dare the governor erase the countless hours of effort, time, and money that the jury, judge, prosecutors, investigators, and families of the victims have had to endure.

"Selective morality" is such a handy thing especially when it makes for good press. Governor Carnahan should be ashamed and ousted for his total breach of trust. As far as I know it is the great people of Missouri who pay his salary and not the Vatican. Unfortunately, it is also the people of Missouri who will be paying for Mease's heinous existence rather than the Governor. All justice minded Missourians should be "moved" as I have been, to see that the Governor's term be commuted, by his constituents, to that of a private citizen. Carnahan is far from honorable and does not deserve the title as such.
