Section 9.          Inspection Fee

$50 prior to connection.

Section 10.          Connection to the Sewage Works

The owner of any, lot, parcel of real estate or building, which was not included in the initial approved sewer project as defined in the plans and specifications for bidding prepared by Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., the consulting engineer, connecting to the sewer works shall, prior to being permitted to make a connection, pay a connecting charge in the amount of: (A) Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each equivalent single family dwelling unit and (B) the cost of making the public sewer suitable for connection, including, excavation, backfilling, pavement replacement, and installation of a sewer line, grinder pump, and other appurtenances and accessories required by the District.

Any such owner so connecting shall also install all components of the private sewer as required by the District to connect such private sewer line into the public sewer system and shall pay the costs of such components and their installation.

In addition, a connection charge as provided in this Section 10 will be required of any customer who does not connect to a local or lateral sewer constructed as part of the initial approved sewer project within 90 days of the date on which said sewer was available for connection.
