Oh, No! Those Romance Novel Picture Covers!

�����The romance book covers with women in little clothing hanging on to a man's leg is not my choice of book cover art. I don't know about you but, I don't think romance or love look any thing like the covers. I know the woman and man are "suppose" to be in the heat of passion but, I don't imagine passion like that romantic in any context. Most of the time I try to stay away from those kind of romance novels. I mean it's one thing to have a romance title called A Well Pleased lady or Stormy Love but, to have a man with no shirt on and a woman in a dress that's about to fall off draped over the man like a sheet does not make me want to be seen reading the book. The story has to be extremely interesting or the author as be one of my favorites before I would ever consider buying a book with art like that on the cover of a romance novel.

�����The novels where the cover is two layers with a "romantic" picture covered by a solid cover title sheet is more appealing to me. Novels with no "romantic" passion picture on the cover is the romance novel I am most likely to buy. I have noticed that over the six years I have been reading romance novels that most novels appear to have the two layer cover with the solid cover title sheet and passion picture behind it, which I can not say I am sad about it.

�����Though I am a romance reader that does not mean I want to shout it to the world!
