The original plastic guitar brooch has a color paper photo insert placed under a clear plastic lens inset into the guitar. The reproduction has a silver or gold photo attached on the outside of the guitar. The reproduction has "The Beatles" raised in the neck strings and is marked "NEMS 64" on the head of the guitar. The pictures on other reproductions are mostly the same as the originals but are slightly fuzzy without the clear plastic lens over them. The reproduction back card has straight edges while the original card has zigzag edges. |
