I'm first and foremost a season 1 fan, but I also watched season 2.
Compared to season 1 it also has some improvements, like more action and a less "childish" apperance. But what I disliked was the general new look and feel of the show, there was just something a bit strange and gloomy about it.
I liked Maeve, and it was sad that she left, but Bryn was also OK, so that didn't make all that much difference to me. But a character I really missed was Rumina (and Turok), strange that they just threw the whole storyline from season 1 out the door like that.
And then there is the changes in Sinbad... perhaps he became too much of a pirate, and he was the character who changed the most, his new costume became different from those of the rest of the crew. If not keep it as in season 1, it would have been better if the changes were less. Like i.e. he had black pants of the same sort as in season 1, and a long sleeved shirt. When it comes to his hair/face he looked OK in the beginning of season 2 before his hair got too long and greasy. But, the best couple of episodes of season 2 were better than the worst couple of episodes in season 1.
