=========================================================================
SubSeven 2.2 BETA 1 [3/19/2000]
=========================================================================

* the server will NOT listen for connections if you are offline. if you want to test it
  while offline, eter the parameter ONLINE when you run it.

* if you don't know what a button does, then move your mouse over it. EVERYTHING
  is explained in hints.

* everything is based on commands. you can send a bunch of commands at once by using
  defines in commands.cfg. you can edit the defines from the client or with any text
  editor. click the second button on the main client, and look around the menu settings,
  OnConnect commands and commands.cfg. it should be easy to understand.

* commands are NOT case sensitive.

* interface is not finished. this is only a draft of the main client.

* prefferences window will be changed... client colors, and other advanced settings will be added.

* once you get familiar with the commands, you can play around with the OnConnect commands.
  for example you can refresh file manager, windows, drives and everything else on connect.

* there are 2 types of OnConnect commands. the client commands, and the server commands.
  the client OnConnect commands are sent as soon as you connect to a sub7 server. you can include
  passwords and pretty much every known command. the SERVER OnConnect commands are basically the
  notifies. it's the list of commands that the server executes when it detects a connection.
  you can retrieve these by using the main menu. they can be protected with a password.

* the FIRST thing you should do when you first run sub7 is open the CONSOLE. the console is similar
  to the one in DT, bo2k and bo. it lists all commands sent and retrieved. as you install additional
  plugins, you can use the console to test commands. for example, the s7capture plugin includes 2
  commands, you can use the console to test them out.

* if you have any questions, check http://subseven.slak.org/beta/
  a forum will be opened for support.

* if you find a bug, or have any suggestions about the interface, e-mail it at sub7beta@flashmail.com
  [emails NOT related to 2.2 beta will be ignored and deleted]
