Rebirth

Rebirth
Much has been said about the conflicts between
religion, science, spirituality and education. I was
raised by a religious family and with a good education
and this conflict almost never fails to create useless
arguments on all sides as the mud gets slung in everybody's
faces and the innocence of belief is lost. It must have
been a spiritual group where I heard this, but somewhere
along the line I came to a realization that there is a
God and I'm not Him and that what I don't know makes me
a tad bit wiser For example, modern thought takes a
passive approach to politics. When I was a young student,
I thought I knew everything there was to know about government
and political and economic theory. That was, of course,
until I became old enough to vote and some of those politicians
were actually elected into office. The results were not
quite what I had predicted.
But by taking the same understanding that I am not
the genius of philosophy and universal spiritual concepts,
I come to believe with a faith and reliance on God much
stronger than I would playing the know it all and what I
get out of this is a rebirth, a take on a new life,
a life I've watched others lose only to rebuild my own.
