(Sailor Moon is not mine!!!!!) _____________________________________________________________________ * * * Third Person P.O.V. * * * As Ami and Makoto walked down the ramp they both tried not to break out into fits of laughter. Everyone was staring at them like the were sort sort of strange phenomenon. It was very unsettling. Didn't these people know that they were just as human as the Terrans? With a crowd of people watching them so closely they decided against using their psycic abilities to carry out a conversation, someone might be able to over pry into the conversation, so instead they wispered to each other. "Do you suppose they've ever seen a merecretion or jupiterite royal before?" Makoto asked quitely. Her eyes never strayed from the crowd. She wanted to catch her bearings before actully meeting a true tarren. "In the past century? No, but at one point we had very close relations with the Earth. Then came the war...." Ami replied. She shuddered. The great millinnium wars. They had nearly destroyed the galaxy. Luckily, the Goddess Selene of the Moon had appionted 8 legendary warriors to ead the war and bring peace to all the planets. Warriors were still selected from each planet as time went by and the mighty sailors died. Unfurtunatly the Earth still hadn't completely recovered from the wars and blamed the moon for it. That was why communication between the earth and other planets was so limited. After all, the moon was the rulling kingdom in the Silver Millennium Alliance that all planets, but the earth, were a part of. "That blasted war! If it hadn't been for the blasted Dark Kingdom, that started it all, the earth would still be at peace with the moon, and Pricess Serenity could full fill her dream and see the earth on the planet itself," Princess Makoto cried out with venom in her voice. "It's all in the past, Mako-chan. Don't get so worked up about somthing you can't change," Princess Ami reprimended. "Well... we could always give Setsuna-sama a visit..." Makoto said thoughtfully. "You know she wouldn't cooperate. Her responsibilities are to prevent thing like that from happening, not help them happen," Ami explained. "Oh, we'd best be silent now. We've almost reached the Terrians." As Makoto and Ami walked the last few paces to the Earth royals their stomaches fluttered. Each of the princess' had seen a guy that had caught her eye. Makoto could hardly stop staring at the tall long, brown-hair, green-eyed guy. He was soooo dreamy! Ami on the other hand, had been completely captivated by the long sand-blond haired man. His eyes were as blue as the ocean on Mercury.... It had been a long time since she had been to her summer palace by the mercretion ocean. How she missed the peaceful sound of the water lapping upon the shore. Her duties always seemed to come first these days. At that moment Ami decided that she would enjoy her stay on Earth. She would think of it as a sort of vacation. Finally, the King and Queen of Mercury, and the two princess' reached the royals of Earth. "Greeting, and welcome to my humble kingdom. I trust you were comfortable during your rather long trip." the women that Ami had singled out as the queen, said warmly. "We were quiet comfortable, Queen Gaia-" Queen Amilia started. "Please, just Gaia," the Earth queen corrected. "Gaia," Amilia repeated. "We just want to thak you for inviting us to your very beatiful kingdom." "It was no problem at all. As you may well know, I'm currently trying to restore all off world comunications. I'm even considering getting in touch with the moon." Gaia informed. "Now why don't we start the introductions, and that way we can see about getting back to my palace. After all, you need to get your rest. You must be exausted from your journey." "I agree," said Amilia. "This is my husband, as you know, King Mathew, and this," Amilia indicated for the princess' to step forward. "is my daughter Princess Ami, and her friend Princess Makoto." "How do you do?" Ami said right on cue. "Please to meet you," Makoto said, automatically. Her manners had been very well rehersed. "I'm very well, thank you. I'm also very pleased to meet you," Gaia replied. "Now I would like to introduce my son, Prince Endymion-" "Charmed," the raven haired young man, in the silver and black tunic said politely. "- and his guards and generals. Kunzite-" "Nice to meet you," the man with the white-blond hair said. "- Jadeite -" "Hello," the golden blond said, trying to be friedly. "- Nephfrite -" "Bonjuor," the young man that had caught Makoto's eye said. He was praticing his French... 'What a romantic greeting... I hope I can get to know Nephfrite. Funny. He doesn't look a thing like my old boyfriend....' Makoto thought to herself. "- and Zoicite," Gaia finished. "I hope you enjoy your stay," the sand-blond haired man said kindly. Then he gently took Ami's hand, and brushed his lips softly against her hand. The sound of his voice, and his caring gesture of greeting made Ami's heart leap. 'No, Ami, you can't fall in love. Remember the last time you fell in love? You'll only get hurt,' Ami thought to herself, sternly. * * * Zoicite's P.O.V.* * * For some reason I just can't seem to get myself under control. My heart is beating faster than it should be, and I find myself having trouble breathing. My stomache feels like it has butterflys swooping around in it trying to get out. All in all, I feel very light-headed. All I can seem to think about as I prepare to ride back to the palace on my freshly groomed horse, good thing we bring horse groomers with us to these events, is Princess Ami's soft, delicate hand, and the feelings that shot though me when I touched her.... What is wrong with me? Is it posible that this pretty little princess is doing this to me? Is this what they call love at first sight? If so what am I going to do? How can I full fill the bet I made with Nephfrite if I've in fact in love myself? This could cause trouble.... * * * Ami's P.O.V.* * * After we had finish up with the introductions Mother, Father, Mako-chan, and I were lead into a carriage that was pulled by four stallions. The inside of the carriage was simple yet elligent. Queen Gaia was placed inside a second carriage with the three ladies in waiting that had acompanied her to the landing zone. The prince, and his generals, on the other hand, were riding their own horses back to the palace. How I wish that I could be riding my own horse! Dispite the cushioned elligance of the carrige I find it rather stuffy in here. On a horse, though I would be free to have the wind blow through my hair, and then I would feel completly free. Unfurtunatly, it is considered improper for females to ride upon a horses back. I've never really recieved the chance to learn to ride horseback. I wish someone, besides Mako-chan and the other girls, would treat me like a human. Perhapes that Zoicite fellow might treat me like an ordinary person, instead of some sort of godess. After all he seems to have some sense in him. I think it's something about his eyes that make want to know him better. That color of blue, and the intelligent soul that I can see trying to hide behind them.... I'm still a little overwelmed with my meeting with him. The way he held my hand in his, and the feel of his lips.... No! I won't fall in love. Besides he's of lower rank than me. The relationtion wouldn't be proper.
