This was actually my first story, so it's not very good. Then again, I tend to give myself worse "grades" than every other person. So here it is. __________________________________________________________________________________ On a peacful block in Tokyo there lay a young blond girl sound asleep in bed. She was a pretty girl who was in the eigth grade. She went to Crossroads Jr. High School. Her name was Serena. Suddenly Serena awakened and looked at her alarm clock. "Ohhh! Why didn't anyone wake me up!?!" she cried. She quickly got dressed, put her hair up in her usual hairstyle, (Long pigtails that streamed out of two buns that looked alot like meatballs at the top of her head.) grabbed her bookbag and dashed out the door, calling out her apollogies for missing breakfast. "Serena! You forgot your lunch," a short boy with brown hair, named Sammy yelled. Serena shot back and swipt her lunch from her little brother. Then she dissapeared at lightning speed in the other direction. * * * * * * Serena was sitting with two of her friends near some trees. One of her friends had black hair that looked almost blue in the light and was about average hight. Her other friend had brown hair and was very tall. The black haired girl was named Amy, and the brown haired girl was named Lita. It was lunch time and they were busy eating and chatting. "I can't beleave Miss Huruna gave me a detention again," Serena complained to her friends. "Well maybe if you were more responsible that wouldn't happen," Amy replied. "That's easy for you to say, Amy. You welcome responsibility with open arms and get A's no matter how hard you study. It isn't that easy for me," Serena told Amy. "Well maybe we should get you a better alarm clock," Lita said. "I want to go shopping after school anyway." "Shopping? I'll definetly go with you Lita!" Serena exclaimed. Shopping was one of her favorite things. "What about you Ames?" Lita asked. "Well................" Amy began. "Oh come on! It'll be fun," Lita told her. "Yeah, you study to hard," Serena said. "Oh all right, but only for a while," Amy gave in. RIIIIIING! The afternoon bell went off and Serena rushed back to class. * * * Later that day, after Serena's detention, Serena, Lita, and Amy walked to the mall. The first place thay hit was the candy store. Serena bought 2 candy bars, 4 suckers, and 8 pieces of gum. Lita only got one candy bar, while Amy commented on how they would spoil their suppers. Then they headed towards a book store on Amy's insistance. Serena tried to talk her way out of entering the dreaded bookstore, but Lita sided with Amy saying that she needed to buy a new cookbook. Serena was out numbered and gave in with a sigh. "I'll be trying to find a good dictionary," Amy said and walked towards the far right of the bookstore. Then Lita and Serena walked to the back of the store and started looking through the cookbooks. "Here's a good one Lita. How To Make 108 Diffent Kinds Of Cakes. You should get it," Serena commented. "No, I'm looking more along the line of salads," Lita told Serena. "Yuck! I prefer sweets myself," Serena informed. "Yeah, I have a sweet tooth too, but you can't be healthy without fruits and vegtables. Oh! Here's what I've been looking for! 99 Ways To Make A Salad," Lita said as she flipped through the book. Suddenly screams ripped through the store. "Sounds like trouble! I'll see what's going on. You call for help!" Lita said and then shouted "Jupiter Star Power!" Then Lita dissapeared in a flash of green light and when the light died down where Lita once stood, Sailor Jupiter was. Jupiter quickly sprang into action and ran to the front of the store where Amy was already fighting as Sailor Mercury. 'I never get any peace any more,' Serena thought to herself. Then she paged the others on her comunicater. -What is it now?- Raye (Mars, the black haired scout) asked. -There is a monster in the mall bookstore. Jupiter and Mercury are already fighting. Get here quick!- Serena cried. -We're on our way!- Mina(Venus, the other blond sailor scout) said. "Moon Crystal Power!" Serena shouted. Then in a flash of ribbon and light she transformed into Sailor Moon. She wished she didn't have to fight, but it was her duty, so she rushed to the scene of the fight. The monster looked alot like a librarian except it was purple and had very sharp looking teeth. When it attacked it would throw peices of paper that turned into razor blades in the air. In front of the monster, on the floor, were about a dozen energy drained people. "Jupiter Tunder Clap Zap!" Jupiter cried out her attack. The moster quickly dodged out of the way and threw several paper blades at Jupiter. She managed to jump out of the way of the first few, but one of the paper blades cut a wound in her right arm. Mercury quickly went to bandage Jupiters arm. When Sailor Moon saw her friend hurt she got angry and lashed out without making a speech for the first time. "Moon Tiara Magic!" Sailor Moon cried and threw her tiara like a disc. Her attack struck the monster in the shoulder throwing it off guard. "Mars Fire Ingnite!" "Venus Love Chain Encircle!" Venus and Mars had finally arrived! Sailor Moon was releaved. The monster saw the attacks coming and managed to step out of the way of Mars' attack, but steped directly into Venus' attack. The monster was stunned out of movement. "Now Sailor Moon!" Mars yelled. Sailor Moon nodded and pulled out her septer. "Moon Septer Ellimination!"she yelled. A beam of power shot out of the septer and turned the monster into dust. Then Sailor Moon rushed over to Jupiter. "Are you okay?" Sailor Moon asked. "I'll be all right. It is only a cut, really," Jupiter answered. "We need to call a scout meeting." "Can we call it in about an hour," Sailor Moon asked. "I guess we could," Mars said. "Is that okay with every one?" Everyone nodded. "Good. I'll see you all in an hour,"Mars contiued. "We'd better go before someone sees us," Mercury pointed out. Everybody found a place to detransform and left to take care of a few things before meeting at the temple. * * * 'I'd better call Darien and invite him to the meeting,' Serena thought to herself as she walked in the door of her house. As she reached out to pick up the phone it started to ring. Serena wasn't prepared for this and jumped a foot up into the air in shock. Then she picked up the phone and spoke in to the reciever. "Hello?" she said. * * * About an hour and a half later at the temple four 14 year old girls, and two cats were sitting around waiting for Serena. "Where is she!?!" Raye cried. "I'm sure she'll be here soon Raye. You know she's never on time so don't worry," Amy said. "Yeah? She had better have a good reason for being this late!" Raye shouted. "Have a little patience Raye. She is getting a little better," Mina said. "Yeah, I remember when she would trip over her own feet and cry all the time," Lita added. "She still does!" Raye exclaimed. "Not as much," Lita told her. Suddenly Serena bust into the room with Darien on her heels. She looked as if she wanted to cry, but Raye didn't notice and started to yell at her. "Meatball head, why are you so late!?! You had better have a good reason," Raye exploded. "I'm sorry! I just got some terrible news! Molly was in the bookstore during the attack. Her energy was totally drained. To make matters worse the monster had thrown her against the wall. She's still uncosious!" Srena exclaimed and started to cry. "So thats whats been bothering you," Darien murrmered as he held her close to give her comfort. When Serena had called to tell him about the meeting her voice had been shaking, and when he had picked her up she had been on the verge of tears. When he asked what was wrong she only said that she would tell him later. "I'm sure Molly will be all right. She's been attacked before and recovered,"Lita told her comfortingly. The black female cat with a gold cresent moon birth mark on her forehead walked over to Serena and spoke. "The monster is 'moon dust' now, so it won't be doing any more damage," Luna (the black cat) said. "No victims have ever suffered any long term damage, so don't worry about it," Artemis (the milky white cat with another gold cresent moon on his forehead) said logicaly. "If you want I could go with you tomarrow and visit your friend," Amy offered. Serena's tears slowed down. "Would you (sniffle) Amy? Thank you!" Serena said as her sobbing slowed to a sniffle. 'The nega-verse won't get away with hurting Molly, Lita, or any other innocents while I'm alive,' she vowed. I started it a long time ago, more than a year, but I've only finished two chapters so far. Pretty bad. That just tells you something about me. I get a lot of writters block and I'm usually very busy. What did ya think?
